The Taiwan External Trade Council today announced the winners of the 17th Taiwan Excellence Awards. With nearly 600 products submitted for this year’s competition, Unitech received awards for both of their mobile computer entries.

“We listen to customer feedback. The Unitech PA968 is a versatile, multifunction product with integrated tracking capability, swappable keypads, and a sunlight-visible LCD for outdoor applications. The other example, the Unitech PA600MCA, is a compact, antimicrobial mobile computer specifically designed for healthcare applications. Unitech continuously strives to meet customer needs by incorporating their feedback into the development of outstanding products,” said Unitech CEO, Pete Chen.

Every year, the Taiwan Excellence Awards honor those products qualified in “R&D/ Innovation”, “Design Innovation”, “Quality Systems”, “Marketing”, and “Brand Awareness”. The Taiwan Trade Development Council (TAITRA) holds this competition annually to improve Taiwanese product quality and international recognition worldwide.
