  • The UNITECH PA550 Enterprise Mobile Computer Wins Taiwan Excellence Award and iF Product Design Award

    Taipei, Taiwan - May 14, 2010 – The Unitech PA550 enterprise mobile computer has been recognized for excellence by the Taiwan External Trade Council and the International Forum Design for its unique combination of durability functionality and sleek design.
     
    Chosen as winner amongst a pool of more than 700 competitors, the PA550 was the proud recipient of the 18th Taiwan Excellence Award. Also in receipt of the German iF Product Design Award, the PA550 beat out a total of 2,486 international entrants. 
     
    Powered by Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.5, the Unitech PA550 is designed to function as an industrial mobile computer that can withstand 1.2mtr drops to concrete while retaining the attractive appearance of a PDA. A comprehensive data collection device, the PA550 transmits information quickly and efficiently via advanced wireless connectivity such as Bluetooth, 802.11b/g, GSM, GPRS and 3.5G HSDPA.
